TFM M-01A Disorder - Brand New IDW Menasor

Here we are looking at the newest offering for IDW style Menasor and Stunticon from Transform Mission (TFM). The Disorder is the first robot from TFM and it is based on IDW Wildrider. Some people believe that TFM is actually the same company with Generation Toys (GT), and i kinda believe that one as well after receiving and playing with the Disorder. But that is not the point and its less important as long as the product itself is a good and solid product.

Packaging
The packaging for Disorder is very similar to that of Generation Toys constructicon with solid cardbox packaging with outer sleeve depicting an artwork and design of Disorder. Just like Generation Toys also, inside the box, Disorder is already transformed into his alt mode/car mode. Other than an obligatory instruction manual and the robot itself, we do not have anything else inside the box.

Alt Mode
The car mode looks and feel awesome. I love the translucent red on the windshield and side mirror and also the lamp. The black body color is doff and not glossy. One can argue that a sports car supposed to be glossy and not doff/flat. But i kinda like it.
The tire is rubber tire and the molding of the velg/wheel is very very good.
The back side is very clean and tidy with the gun tucked securely inside the vehicle.
Looking at the back side, you will also notice that for the combined mode, Disorder will use a slide slot mechanism in order to slot himself into the Menasor body.

Robot Mode
Just like the car mode, the robot mode is stunning on its own also. The IDW design is fresh and aesthetic is very good. I have to say it out loud here that the transformation process was a joy and i didn't have any single issues during the transformation process. And yes, no stress mark :).
Everything moves perfectly and there is no clearance issue or whatsoever. The instruction manual also very good and very clear for guiding the whole transformation process.
I like the paint application of the robot mode with silver touch, blue color on the chest, overall red color on both hands, on top of overall flat black color.
The one thing that i do not like from the robot mode is the face sculpt. But is more on personal preference and it doesn't ruin the overall quality of the robot.
The back side of the robot also clean up nicely. Few people can argue that there is a lot of kibbles on the robot mode, especially on the shoulder guard (which is the door of the car) and the front side of the car dangling on the back of the robot. But to me, the kibble is not too bad and i do not have any issue with it.

Articulation
Wow, this robot is very solid. During my first play through all the joints is very stiff and have a good traction on it. I didnt recall that we have any ratchet joint here but it doesn't matter.
Disorder, being and individual robot, should capable of posing various poses while maintain the overall sturdiness and stability of the robot.
The only joint that i do not like is on the elbow. Due to the transformation, the joint in the elbow may move and look awkwardly on its own when you pose him. But again, not a big deal.

Final Thoughts
I can easily recommend TFM Disorder to anyone there as the both the robot and the car mode is very good and a quality piece on its own. If you want to have an IDW Menasor than it is no brainer that you will get Disorder and the rest of the Stunticon member. The first figure from TFM is a success for me, and i only hope that TFM (and/or Generation Toy) continue this trend toward their next member in the future. As it stands now, i already have, or will have 2 IDW Menasor (from TFM and the previous release of Fans Project Intimidator), i'm still waiting a 3rd party company out there have a plan to release Menasor G1 style. Maybe Toyworld?
But anyway, go get TFM Disorder, chances are you will not be dissapointed and you will end up buying the other member and for the Menasor. The TFM Menasor will looks great next to GT Devastator.

Cheers
