Unique Toys Y-02 Buzzing - Unexpected Surprise

After Y-01 Provider (Not-Octane), Unique Toys followed up with the release of Y-02 Buzzing, which is based on character Blurr. It is interesting to see that Unique Toys opted to increase the size and height of Buzzing as an MP scale compare to Provider. I still think that Y-01 Provider is a good figure overall and let's hope that the quality continue to improve on the Y-02 Buzzing

Robot Mode
Buzzing is a very well made robot and solid overall design. He is very sturdy and solid figure. The paint application is true to the original color with light blue, metallic blue, and a bit touch up on silver and other color for detail. The aesthetic and design is very simple and true to the original design as well. I think the designer had succeeded by maintaining the overall look and proportion of Buzzing to be as close as the original Blurr. 
To me, the plastic material is not too good but is not bad also. I feel that there is slight improvement of the plastic quality every since Provider, but i could be wrong.

Buzzing also comes with a small robot (which i do not know anything about it) that can transform as part of the rifle for Buzzing weapon. 

Transformation and Alt Mode
The transformation is where Buzzing really shines. Overall process of transformation was a joy and i didn't encounter any issue at all. However, as always, the instruction manual didn't do a good job guiding the transformation process, but you should have no problem finding the transformation video on the net. 
There was a bit of clearance issue when transforming the hand and feet part to alt mode, but it wasn't too bad.
The alt mode of Buzzing also very similar to the original Blurr in which he transformed to a futuristic car. 

Remember the small robot? that small robot can also be placed on the seat section of Buzzing's alt mode

Articulation
The articulation is amazing and you should be able to pull a few extreme poses for Buzzing without sacrificing the stability of the robot. There is lot of clearance space for the shoulder rotation, elbow joint, and knee joint. 

Final Thoughts
If you want a good 3rd party representation of Blurr, then look no further and get UT Buzzing. This figure is just that good. From paint application, plastic material, articulation joint, and transformation, Buzzing is a winner. 
Unique Toys is not Maketoys, MMC, or TFC. 
Unique Toys is doing something different than the other 3rd party companies. 
When there was an Ironhide war, or Inferno war, Unique Toys didnt follow that trend. Instead they released something different with Provider and Buzzing. When the market is going to Devastator war, Unique Toys released Ordin (Not-Abominus) which was also a very good combiner.
I can appreciate the effort and direction that Unique Toys is going and they are no doubt belong to one of the good/recommended 3rd party companies (at least for me). 
There's not a lot of company want to make Blurr, but Unique Toys did it and delivered a solid all around figure. 
The next figure that they are going to release is Y-03 Sworder, which is based on Sandstorm character. I, for one, is looking forward for the Sworder and i hope that Unique Toys keep raising the bar higher for every new product that they are going to release in the future.
